Aboard the train, a hint of jazz,
Bass set the mood for melody
Carried by the tenor sax.
Drum and trumpet kept it raw.
Egregious discordant V:
F-sharp — a wounded cat’s miaou!
Good thing our stop was coming next.
Harlem about to hear them blues.
I disembarked, my mission clear.
Jam all night with the revered Q:
